In India 2020 people faced a natural disaster that is cyclone named AMPHAN. which had made a huge destruction in Kolkata, west Bengal. Now we had seem that locust attacked India. In history many natural disasters came all over the world. Let's explore some.
Today I want to discuss about the 5 deadliest natural disaster that made huge destruction in the world history everyone should know.
Natural disasters:
1. Hurricane Galveston.
The great Hurricane of Galveston is known as the highly destructive storm in the year 1900. The deadliest disaster recorded in US history. It also affected Canada. It had arise from Atlantic ocean with a speed of 233km/hr which had made a massive destruction and killed 6000 to 12000 people.
2. The great bhola cyclone.
The great bhola cyclone was the worst cyclone which had made a massive
destruction which has recorded history. This cyclone took place in the year 1970. It had arise from bay of bengal and destryoed west Bengal and east pakistan (now bangladesh). the speed of the wind was 240km/hr. And the shocking information that 500,000 people became homeless out of that death crossed 300,000 people.
3. China Flood.
Everywhere there is a conversation of China. In history china faced a dengerous flood came out from the river Yangtze-Huai which had took place in the year 1931. Hitting the major areas like Wuhan, Nanjing and other central and eastern part of China. Many people faced many facalties out them the shocking death crossed above 400,000 people which is very scary.
4. Woodward Tornado.
Woodward tornado records the world widest tornado in the world. Which had arise in Oklahoma city in U.S and slowly moved and effected texas and kansas. It had occurred in the year 1947. It was max rated by F5 tornado as it is much destructive. Which had lasted 4 to 5 hours. Due to this tornado many people became homeless out of that shocking injury crossed 980 people.
5. Indian Ocean Earthquake and Tsunami.
As we know that 2004 tsunami was the massive distructive natural disaster recorded ever history. The underwater earthquake was reported as 9.1 to 9.3 magnitude. It effected 14 countries like Sri Lanka, Indonesia, India, Thailand etc. The earthquake reported third largest earthquake in history. That tsunami waves reached upto 100ft (30m) height. And the shocking death crossed over 200,000 people.
